You might not have picked it up from a reference on the ETC site, but the European Squash Federation has decided to make all its event PAR to 11 scoring, as from the European Individuals in Bratislava (Jun 03-07) for the seniors, and the Heriot Watt Junior Open for the juniors (18-20 July).

While this is good news for the ETC men's final (four and a half hours for three matches is no fun, believe me) I'm reserving judgement on how it will work for the other players and events, where in general the length of matches isn't an issue (but might become one).

The definite good news is that scores will be recorded as, for example, 15/13 .... phew!
