And by the way, the disbelieving and jealous Aussies can head to Melbourne and ask Bert Armstrong ... in whose private court, Nicol and Sarah have trained in.

The indisputable facts are :
Nicol was the first person to win the world junior twice. Nicol is the also youngest player to win the World Open title. This means no one has ever won that title at her age ... not Michelle Martin, not Sarah Fitzgerald, not anyone.
Also, you can't judge a player's career that has panned out against one who is just starting. At her age, Nicol has already out-achieved every female player there ever was.

When was the Vancouver match played?? Given the length of time Sarah has been off the tour it's about time Nicol started beating her!!!

Delsol, we not putting down Nicol for what she's acheived, more commenting on what was an outragous title and statment to start with, you will note that the title of this thread has changed, says something doesn't it!! |
