A certain member has pushed the limits too far, too often, so has been banned. While I can delete posts it may mean that some threads don't make sense any more, so bear with us for now until said user gets fed up / I find all his IP addresses, or I just get really fed up and close the forum ...

Good on you Steve! While I love reading the Forum and have a few chuckles about a few of the posts, there are also those which, in my opinion, are a total waste of time opening and reading. Unfortunately, unless we do open to read, we don't know what a waste of time it eventually was (e.g. "Guess What").

While I have always respected everone's opinion (to each his own), I feel some of the forum subjects are immature, obtuse, or just plain insensitive. IMO it's absolutely fine to disagree with someone and put your views across, but you shouldn't challenge their opinion by harrassing or intimidating them, as it is THEIR OPINION.

To get opinions and views from all over the world in one site is fabulous - while one half sleeps, the other half opinionates! Laughing

Thanks for all the posts everyone, I look forward to being amused and educated for a long time to come. Give us all another chance Steve!!

Bendi, I suggest the fact that wasted24/7 hasn't posted on this particular thread is all the evidence needed to know who was banned. So your original guess is correct.

Too bad I kinda liked him. Out of curiosity could someone send me a private message saying what he did to go over the line. He was enthusiastic but over zealous I guess and was a bit silly. Probably some 15 yr old.

The problem for us guys is that we did not see what was said by the person removed however the way I view a forum of this nature is, is a bit like going down the pub with your squash mates, you talk sense at times, take the piss at others but never let it get to personal, if they have consistantly over stepped the mark well so be it, geniune info good, having a laugh good, being too personal forgivable if done once or twice. but boring after a while.

I feel that the balance of posts is ok but lets not lose that sense of fun!!!
