I'm always looking for reviews of racquets and other equipment, so I thought I'd give my opinion of these shoes.

1. They look way better in person than they do in pictures (yellow)
2. I wore them for 3 hours around the house and while they felt tight in the forefoot for a while, they loosened up nicely. After only one more hour (on the court) they are fully broken in
3. They don't seem to have much forefoot cushioning, but it felt good enough on the court, yet perhaps less spring than other shoes (I guess that's stability over cushion)
4. They feel very, very stable. The the soles are about 1cm wider than my old Hi-Tec Adrenalin Xcel Ultra
5. Much of the rubber feels soft to the touch
6. The lacing system is fantastic! It really locks the foot into position
7. Once broken in they fit true to size.
8. I got no blisters, no aches or pains in my feet, ankles, knees, hips (the location of most of my injuries) or my back.
9. I'm not sure about their durability, but I'll update this review when they start breaking down---hopefully that will take a while!

Highly recommended!

Good review.

Been wearing mine for about 5 months and usually by now i'm looking for a new pair as the grip is starting to wear but they are holding up well and still very grippy. Insoles are wearing out though and not sure if you can replacement ones from hitec??

I don't know if they do--send them an email. They are good insoles which support my feet in the right places. When they wear out I'm going to put SuperFeet in them.

Yes, Hi-Tec do have replacement insoles.

After at least 5 more matches they are getting better and better. Still noticeably less spring in my step but it's worlds ahead of any other shoe I've tried in terms of stability and grip. And, yes, the yellow looks really good live.

Turns out I don't like the insoles because they're too spongy for me. I went with SuperFeet Green and although they are higher in the heel, they're much better for my feet. I simply tie them a bit looser than with the original insoles. Also, still no blister or joint problems!
