Recently joined Let's Talk and have had 2 posts deleted, whats with that!
Didnt swear, speak about politics, religion, sex, whatever. Isnt a online bulletin board about a range of opinions, views and such. Big Brother moderator(s?) obviously have selfconfidence issues and care more about blocking access and awareness of other sources of squash information than free flowing squash discussions.
The moderator must have been trained by the Chinese on their approach to the internet and open discussions.
Get a life, let us talk about the game, talk about other articles, without your delete finger getting too itchy. |

No, I don't think it's wasted arisen, but I have my suspicions that it's another old visitor returning.
Anyway, let's put it like this - if you wrote a letter to the New York Times saying "Isn't the Washington Post great", you wouldn't expect them to publish it, would you. |

Yes, but wouldn't you regard them as a truly great newspaper if they did publish it, assuming I had a strong argument? I see your point of view, but SquashAround is also making a valid point. While there may be some short-term benefits from banning posts on competitor's, the long-term consequences are detrimental to the game . A less popular game will probably mean this forum won't exist in 20 years... _________________ My Squash Profile

Given the very marginal state of squash I very much doubt Steve has the luxury of planning 20 years ahead for his our enterprise much less the game as a whole........... _________________ ........ Squash is a drug - and remember there is always someone better than you........ |

No disrespect meant Viper, but why do you have such a negative view when it comes to the future of squash? I noticed that a lot of your posts have this view. squash is booming in our club, but not for much longer because there are plans to close one court which ( even though its booked from morning to night everyday ) would really finish off the club. the club cannot function with one court. Is squash dying in your area? |
