| Got a SX100. Weighs 120, but swingweight is 100, they advertise as lightest in the world. Anyways, no complaints, it is very light, tight string pattern, thin frame, sturdy too. So no complaints from me. It was a good buy. |

I've had a hit with some, we don't get anywhere near the full range in Australia. I've got to say, I didn't find a bad racquet in the 7 I tried. They're all just a bit different so it's going to completely depend on what you like in a racquet. I've updated this post with a few opinions of mine.
BX130 - Very nice balance, good power and control (the one I ended up going with)
SX100 - Rather a surprise for me. I was worried about the weight but it felt really good, don't underestimate this racquet!!! For anyone who plays with a lot of wrist flick I think this would suit.
PRO3G - This is weighted to the head, still hits a very nice ball.
PRO3SL - Not able to produce as much power with this racquet but the touch is definitely there.
EVO4SL - This still doesn't hit a bad ball but felt a bit down on power and touch for me.
MX125 - Much the same as the EVO4SL for me.
MX150 - This felt really head heavy, great for developing power but took control away with the balance

| I tried the Evo 4 G last night and it was so powerful. Bit head heavy for me but nice all the same. Any idea how it compares to the Evo 4T?? |

The BX130 looks very similar (but not identical) to my Black Knight 2530 Quicksilver nXS (same frame as the Quartz CXX and the Quicksilver CXX) - have you tried the BK, and if so, can you compare them for me? Thanks. |

I have seen BK racquets being sold here in Melb (Australia). However, I have never used or tried them.
I use the Karakal Pro 3SL (in fact; for over an year now!)
Agree with 'neil13' that it takes an effort to generate power with this racquet, however it is great for volleys and touch.
+1 for Karakal!

Yea I've been looking at the bx130, it looks to have the same frame as my old BTi135 which has been a fabulous raquet for me. I got it 2nd hand in 2003 and only broke last month at the university championships in Toronto, Canada, so easily 5 years of hard use. Excellent balance on it. I'm glad you looked at a bunch of em, though, because otherwise i might have been unsure about the bx130 |

Is the bx 130 pretty evenly balanced or would you say head heavy or head light? |

I find it pretty evenly balanced, just seems to sit nicely in the hand. |

I also have a SX100, love the raquet,
feel it gives a nice dead feel when i hit the sweetspot,
also due to its low weight I feel I have good manouverbility - wrist shots are so easy to pull off.
This its the best racquet I have played with thus far,
previously I played with a Oliver MC5 a lovely racquet as well,
but i find that the karakal beats it on control,
due to the denser string pattern 14x19 455 cm² VS 14x18 487 cm²,
so hitting lobs and killshots is somewhat easier for me with the karakal.
I know the karakal sx100 is said to weigh 120 but when i put mine one a digital scale it stops at 138grams,
I guess if I strip the racket of string, grommets and grip the frame will weigh 100 grams - still no complaints from me
I just love this racquet and recon I will purchase another one in the not so distant future.

You need to get in contact with Cameron Pilley's father who owns the Yamba Squash courts. He has the Karakal franchise for Australia. |
