Using music as a form of optimal arousal is not uncommon, though it seems to be more for the younger generation. Ramy is quoted as having using it. Generally whatever is being played in tha club before we leave for my place
But with regard to squash, I walk to the club so I have a chance to jam some tunes before every game. Before training or a bounce game with friends I will listen to whatever I am in the mood for. Before a league match I tend to listen to heavy as all hell techno, some rowdy dubsetep/dnb joints or any ballin' outta control crunk/bmore style jams.
After a match, win or lose, walking back home I always blast a bit of Godspeed you Black Emperor! or some Basic Channel to help me chill out. |

I actually trained with my ipod on the other day too do some simple hitting drills and then some star and sprinting drills. Was good fun and didn't hinder anything and was good while starring to take away the sound og my cluncking feet.
