I am looking for a former world no 1 to come and coach me. I will pay you an annual salary of 500 dollars. Not negotiable. Coupled that with living away from home benefits, looking for work benefits etc from centrelink you should be able to afford to even rent your own place by eatting minimal amounts of food. Immeadiate start please. All applications only from former world no 1's or world open winners. Thankyou. _________________ If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite |

Seshadri most of the indians are sore losers and apparently now your bad winners? We beat you in the test (more important in my P.O.V) and you all kicked up a stink saying we play too rough and try too hard too win, and whinged about the bad umpiring and then after the racial comments you all said fine, If you don't undo the suspension were taking our stuff and going back home. We're still world no 1 in both forms of the game boi When you guys win a world cup or become test no 1's or even ODI no 1's then we'll concede. Still Tendulkar century was great to watch. You guys have the best all rounder in the game and Ishaant or however you spell it is one of my fav new ODI bowlers.
That sounds good Anthony, especially the dirty uni girls part. They'll do anything for money to help them pay for text books. _________________ If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite |

Tests are more important, but I did think seshadri was quite witty.
One series doesn't really mean India are better than Australia - heck - even England beat Australia in the CB series last year.
India look like they're becoming a good side, but I think you mean the best *fit* all-rounder bendi, not sure he's in Andrew Flintoff's league yet. _________________ Adam Hildred

Adam Flintoff if rubbish. His average is a grand total of 30 and his bowling... big suprise 30 as well. He's obviously not meant for 20/20 cricket... geddit? Pathan opens the batting with his big hitting and really gets the team going and his bowling is why he got on the team. Nether of them are Andrew Symonds quality (second most on the pay roll of IPL) who averages 40 and bowls just below both of them. Maybe I overreacted. I love Dhoni, not sure on his glove work but he could possibly be as good as Gilchrist with the way he bats, Kumble is like the third best bowler of the modern game in my opinion and he has the third most wickets, Tendulkar is the second best batsman ever, Sewag, Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman are all spectacular batters (Sewag not as much), Sharma is just great fun to watch and a future star but I hate sreensath. _________________ If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite |

IMO Sachin is still India's best allrounder; he can do everything other than bowl at express pace. Pathan is too inconsistent to be compared with Symonds [who I think is the best allrounder both by talent and mental toughness]. Go easy on Sreesanth, he's still quite young and hot blooded, a la Bhajji, who really got the Aussies' goat this time! _________________ Before I speak, I have something important to say- Groucho Marx |

Sachin Tendulkar? Who averages 50 with the ball?? I would think Pathan is better even though he is inconsistent. _________________ If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite |

bendi, first off, who cares what they're paid on the IPL? I'm fairly sure Flintoff would be on more than Symonds because he's a much bigger star. Secondly, yes, Flintoff's averages are quite poor considering how good a player he is - but since 2003 - when he got himself sorted himself out after an early career of drinking and being overweight, he averages 39 with the bat and 29 with the ball.
At Test level, Symonds is barely an all-rounder - he's more of a Collingwood player, steady with the ball but no more. His bowling is many, many levels below Flintoff's. The only reason Symonds even started getting into your Test side is because you wanted to try and find a player of Flintoff's quality as an all-rounder after he won us the 2005 Ashes - much like us trying to find a Gilchrist. Heck, I'd even have Flintoff's batting ahead of Symonds', who has just plundered runs on the flat Australian pitches. He wouldn't stand up to an attack of say, Harmison, Hoggard, Flintoff, Jones and Panesar.
Frankly, I don't understand why Australia even pick Symonds. They've got FAR better players and the only reason I can think of Symonds being in your Test side is as a handicapping system - get Dave Hussey in!
Pathan? Let's not be silly. His batting, bowing and fielding is all worse than Fred's. _________________ Adam Hildred

| Symonds is by far the better all rounder - he even turns his hand (or should that be shoulder?) to pitch security. |

Adam I think your in denial. Flintoff's ODI and Test average is 30 for both. Yes he did win you an ashes series. Well done. He played good against the Aussies once. Remember what happened after the Test win? I don't think you realise the strength Symond's brings to our team. Symonds is the second most valued player in the world to many people now. Much, much better than Flintoff. _________________ If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite |

Who the hell cares about the shitty sport Cricket? I put cricket in the same line as Golf, snooker, dart on other lazy sports. And yes, I have tried Cricket.
If you want to discuss cricket do it in a Cricket forum.
