Not sure why but lets face it the juniors much prefer the old forum. Almost no new posts on this one .
Maybe the juniors prefer the anonymous nature of the old forum and the ease to quickly go on and "wind someone up"

Yes, I'm sure they do, but there are two problems with that -

1) we're not prepared to allow unfettered anonymous posting (we never were)

2) we really don't want to have to read and authorise every post

In the old junior forum yes, you could go on to wind someone up, but you had to wait until/if we'd approved it, so it wasn't really quick, just anonymous. In the new forum you can set it to log you in automatically, so it would actually be quicker, but not anonymous.

Remember, it was the junior forum we changed first - the old format, but required registration - because of the volume of silly / nasty / impersonating posts that needed vetting and weeding out. And sorry, we're not going back to that.

Steve I agree with you ! I wasn't suggesting you go back to the old forum but just making a comment that the juniors seem to much prefer the old one.
Personally I dislike all anon postings as I have said before in the forum.
