Check this out ...... links below

This gets me excited about the potential for squash when I see efforts to portray and market our game executed as well as below.

Don't know about anyone else, but I sure hope:
1. squash afficionados give this site some regular traffic (higher traffic=higher # hits=greater ability to attract advertisers=higher revenue=recover cost=greater likelihood their efforts and expenditure of capital will continue=improved coverage & increased content=greater visibility for our game=the virtuous cycle begins)
2. squash sympathetic advertisers and sponsors get behind this site as much as they are able
3. non-squash "aligned" advertisers see the value of advertising on their site(s)
4. squash media (magazines, websites), associations, squash teaching pros, club players and this Forum's audience take it upon themselves to let as many people as possible know about this site via their websites, newsletters or e-mail distributions lists
5. squash promoters utilize/leverage this medium for the benefit of their event and sponsors (i.e. find the $$ in their budget & provide access and opportunities for on-site equipment & personnel or to provide footage)
6. squash pro players make themselves available for interviews and features

**Disclosure** I just found this site this morning, have ZERO affiliation, connection, financial or other interest in this site. I don't know directly or indirectly the principals. I do plan on exploring advertising and sponsorship options with the owners

I too "hope" they keep it up. But honestly and frankly ... it's not really about "hope." Initiatives such as this and indeed other squash efforts, people, companies, sponsors, advertisers, tournament organizers need more than our "hope" they would benefit and I would argue in many (not all cases) deserve our support.

"Support" can take many different forms and need not be financial. In my original post on this topic, I've already expressed a couple of different ways of supporting this effort. How many of us have actually done something as simple as:
1. letting our club squash pro know about this site and ask if they include it in their next e-mail or newsletter
2. sending an e-mail to our squash friends to let them know about this site or
3. a short e-mail to simply say "good work" "enjoyed the video" to the creators of the site/video

Very easy to criticize or lament the:
- actions/inaction, effectiveness, success or lack of for those "managing" our sport (PSA, WSF, National, Regional associations, squash teaching pros, promoters, etc)
- perilous direction our sport is heading (lower participation levels, fewer juniors, court closures, lack of sponsorship/corporate support, etc)

BUT what are we as individuals doing to do our part? To impact on things within our direct ability to control, influence ... TAKE ACTION ?!
