No James Willstrop?

Also, two #12 seeds and 2 #15 seeds, no #6 seed (Willstrop perhaps) or #9 seed.

Its true that James isn't playing. For the others, I quickly rejigged the numbers when I took Ramy out, got some wrong !

Sorry Steve, I thought it was an official PSA draw, I didn't realise you manually updated it.

Interesting on the PSALive site only seeds 1 to 4 have a definite seed number, the rest are listed as 5/8 or 9/16.

No, the trouble is that the official psa draws don't show the seedings any more, so when there's a redraw like this you can adjust them yourself like I did (wrongly), or go back to the entry list and start again.

Anyway, I think it's correct now !

Just got this info about the Quarters that are coming up - The stat about palmer is amazing - I thought I'd share ...

We are now down to the big matches in Hong Kong with the top 8 seeds all progressing through safely.

Times shown are local in Hong Kong which is 8 hours ahead of the UK. A place is at stake at the wonderful venue of Hollywood Plaza for the winners today.

1530 [3] David Palmer v [5] Karim Darwish
This promises to be a great start to the day.Since losing out in the Final of the US Open 2005, David Palmer has an incredible record of reaching later stages of tournaments, reaching at least the Quarter-Finals in 23 of his last 25 events and Karim Darwish was the player to put Palmer out of those two other tournaments in an earlier round ! Darwish has won 2 of the past 3 meetings and that certainly puts extra spice into this contest at the Hong Kong Squash Centre.

1630 [1] Amr Shabana v [8] Wael El Hindi
Some of the top players that they hate facing their own countrymen, who will know more about them than other players on the tour. Amr Shabana faces a match against El Hindi who had a really tough 96 minute 4 game encounter (yes only 4 games) beating Joey Barrington yesterday and is at his career high ranking currently. Shabana is showing the form that has made him World #1 for the past 20 months (even though its only by a single point this month).

1900 [7] Lee Beachill v [4] Thierry Lincou
Lee has never beaten Thierry in their 9 previous meetings on the PSA World Tour but their last meeting was the closest yet with a 3-2 classic match and Thierry coming out 11-8 in the 5th. These two former World Number 1's are certain to give us the highest quality match

2000 [6] Nick Matthew v [2] Gregory Gaultier
These two players are on great form right now. Nick won the US Open just last month in a high quality field and Gregory is currently Ranked World Number 3 and pushed Ramy Ashour all the way in the Saudi International Semi-Final that was one of the best matches ofthis season. In their 5 meetings Matthew leads 3-2 with 3 of the 5 matches going down to the 5th.

"That's true," says David [in the lift in Hong Kong], "but they should remember that both of those times I was injured. In Saudi I hurt my ankle, and in New York I was ill and had to pull up after the first game ..."

Steve,

Instead of just deleting my post - can you just reply with your reasoning why you remove the source of the above information - this is what annoyed me before
