Ashour has plantar faciaitis.(spelling??)
Inflammation of the heel-I had it and it took a year to get over!
I'm sure he'll recover alot quicker as he's half my age.
btw,It really hurts.....(however you spell it) |

Its Plantar Fasciitis. I am suffering from it currently. You're okay for the first 10 min of play, but 'taking off' becomes progressively slower as time passes in the match. Curing it is a slow and irritating process involving icing the heel and a series of stretches and toe exercises. the good news is that recovery is the norm; the bad news is there is no way to predict how long it will take-from a few weeks to many months _________________ Before I speak, I have something important to say- Groucho Marx |

Friend of mine was prescribed a special sole for his shoe by the doctor and the problem was solved very quickly (month or two). Hope Ramy can find a solution as simple as that. _________________ "Drive for show, drop for dough." |

Which is why I wonder if PF is all that's wrong with Ramy. Earlier reports at the time of his injury spoke of marked swelling, which does not happen with PF. Of course, if there is a complete tear of his plantar fascia, it is a very major injury, which will require monhs of lay-off. _________________ Before I speak, I have something important to say- Groucho Marx |
