How suprising?? The first two sentences: Thankyou for your e-petition asking for squash to be entered into the 2012 Olympics. Adding Olympic sports is up to the IOC. | Not sure why Squashsite was endorsing a petition that was created 2 years after the closing date! Even Sky News reported that Squash hadn't made it into the 2012 Olympics back in 2005. Entrants for the 2016 Olympics are decided next year so surely the WSF should be publicising their efforts for Olympic inclusion on places such as Squashsite well in advance. If the WSF can't inform club players/members of the most important opportunity for the sport; why should the Olympic movement bother? |
