| When watching the top guys play on the sky programmes I've noticed that James Wilstrop seems to push off his opponent when he needs to do some retrieving. I would find it annoying to be shoved each time my opponent had to go to the back of the court but none of the players seem to mention it. Does he make contact or is it just a trick of the camera? |

Can't comment on the game you mention but will say that this has happened to me before.
I use one of two tactics depending on the situation and player.
1. Object to the player and if there one, the referee.
2. Anticipate when they are going to do it again and lean back/move to the side when they come to push off you. That way they will be off balance or simply not able to push off you. I've got a few players quite frustrated by doing this. Naturally I ask them what's wrong with me moving out their way?

The games I noticed it most in were against Gregory Gaultier in the Richmond final and Cameron Pilley in the ICC Canary Wharf final.
Having questioned his play I watched the Thierry Lincou British Open game yesterday and he seemed to be not doing it at all, sorry James.
There is no mistaking a Thierry Lincou shove though, like a rugby tackle.
