How do the Black and White compare? (I'm talking about the newer nXS versions.)
(Especially the Black) how would you describe the combination of touch and power?
What other racquet model does it compare to?
Anyone playing these? Anyone demo? I'm curious about what everyone thinks. Thanks! |

| black is 10gram lighter than white. no kidding, paint has weight. red is same weight as white. I hate the thing, got beat by two guys using the same racquet. sold mine myself should have kept it. haha. stiff, control racquet, very very powerful, but the profile is thick, so not as great for scooping stuff up. Otherwise recommended. never breaks either. |

Thanks for the info!
Do you think it's more evenly balanced or slightly head-heavy? |

Hi there, just to give you a little idea if you compare both their weight and Dynamic weight. The lower the number of the Dynamic weight = less mass in the head
C2C Black: Weight: 137 DW: 134
C2C White, Red: Weight: 140 DW: 140
So the Black C2C is a bit more headlight but not by much, they are mainly even balanced racquets. |

Interesting. Your catalogue says the Black nXS is 132 and 127. Nearly the same, though. Have the specs changed? |

Yes the specs did changed a bit for 2008-09, the specs that you mentionned are for 2007-08. There is a slight change in the mold of the racquet as well as cosmetic for 2008-09. We are always looking for a better mold and ways to make the racquet better. There is also a new C2C Aurora for next year...just download the catalogue I posted a link in a recent thread. |

Couple more questions, if that's ok. The US version of the C2C nXS Black (with the Rad grip standard)--which specs does it have?
Also, generally speaking, the Ion Storm will be head heavy and the Ion Drive will be more evenly balanced--is that correct?
Thanks again, Mr. BK! |

I can't tell you what edition of the C2C Black they have in stock right now. Technically they should get the same as the one that we have in Canada, but sometimes they have older batch in stock, the best thing would be to send an email to BK USA and ask (just go under the contact section of our website you will find an email address for the US there).
You are correct about the Ions for now, but they are still at their prototype stage, so the balance and weight can still change, but it should not be a major change.
BTW, ask as many questions as you want it will always be ok! |

Hi VolleyDrop.
I've been using the BK C2C White for 2 years now and my son also uses this racket. I love the racket and find it has the right balance for me. Prior to the C2C White I used the Black version, which had a problem of breaking easily a couple of years ago, which prompted me to switch to the White version. In the end, I liked the extra weight of the White and the durability of the racket is fantasic.
Hope this helps.
