| The Aerogel Pro GT is the replacement for the old M-Fil Pro but does it play the same way? Has anyone used both? What comparisons can/should be made and what are the major differences (if any)? Thanks in advance for any assistance here. Cheers. |

There is now the Aerogel Pro which is the direct replacement for the Mfil Pro as it is 140g and even balance. I can't comment on this racket as I haven't used it.
However, I played with the Aerogel Pro GT for about three months and wasn't overly impressed to be honest. It has a nice feel and weight, 137g and headlight but it is a stiffer racket than the Mfil and it takes a few games to get used to it. My main problem with it though was that they broke as soon as they so much brushed the wall!!!
Between three of us in my Uni team we went through 7 or 8 rackets in the space of three months, it was ridiculous!!! I heard Dunlop acknowledged there was a dodgy batch of them but I don't now whether this has problem has been cured since then. What I do know is that neither of us play Aerogels any more and have all gone back to older Dunlop frames which are a lot more durable and cheaper!
Hope that helps. |

| Thanks Gavster - it does. Hesitant to buy a model that is prone to breaking. I can't find any info on the Aerogel Pro that you mention though. To be honest I would be happy to stay with the M-Fil pro (I still have two frames left) but you simply cannot get them in Australia for love or money. |

They still have some in Bondi squash club. At $199 they are a bit expensive (especially as the Aerogels are cheaper) but maybe you can haggle. |

| Thanks GOB but they're a bit exy at that price. Sportman's Warehouse had them for $120 but they sold out before I got in to get one. I think they may have bought up the last of Dunlop's supplies in Australia to be able to sell them at that price. I think I may be better off just playing my last two frames until they break and then look at what's currently available when I have to. |
