| Shabana is a great player, but it looks like he is struggling a bit; had a hard match againts Shorbagy, lost to Ramy and just lost a game to Aamir in the first round. Is the succession of matches taking its toll? Cheers. |

I would not go as far as to say that amir is struggling you just got to look at his ranking points and see that he nearly has twice as many points as rami. When you look at the amount of 5star tournements that he has played in this season you could say he could be a little bit tired but there again that cant be the reason with amir because he could have 6 months out and still come back as though he had never been away lol The name for amir shabana is squash god I would say |

If you look at Amr's results last year, he "struggled" alot in early round matches but always seemed to dominate the semis and finals, mostly at the expense of Gaultier and Palmer. I think Amr, like all great champs, knows how to pace himself and expend only as much effort as it takes to get the job done in the early rounds. _________________ "Drive for show, drop for dough." |
